Here at Country Club Road we have an active group of young people who make up our Next Generation group (1st – 6th grade). In Next Generation your child will experience life changing activities and Bible studies, and have a blast in their journey. A big part of the Next Generation is our Journey Land.

Journey Land

Journey Land is a rotational based Bible class program that takes our 1st – 6th graders through the Bible by using different learning styles to teach the Bible stories. Children will rotate to a different workshop each week.

• These workshops include telling the Bible lesson creatively in the storytelling workshop; using large motor skills in the game workshop; geography workshop concentrates on maps, timelines and the culture surrounding God’s people.
• The theater workshop gives children a chance to step into the shoes of Bible characters by re-enacting Bible stories; the art workshop is a dedicated space to create projects, cook, or participate in an experiment.
• The puppet workshop applies Bible lessons while having lots of fun.
• Team-building workshop allows the children to work together to help understand how each story relates to their everyday life; the reflection workshop allows the children to see the big picture and the trivia workshop reinforces all they have learned.

All the workshops are designed to reinforce biblical principles.We intentionally keep our Bible class groupings small. This allows the adults in each room to know your children by name and be involved in their spiritual development.
