Have you ever run into a spiritual bully?
The spiritual bully says,
“You are
not spiritual because you don’t do it the way I do it.”
not spiritual because you don’t do it the way I do it.”
Throughout history, Christianity’s biggest obstacle has been man trying to impose their requirements of religion on others instead of Christ’s view.
One of Satan’s greatest tools is to peddle his brand of religion using man’s
arrogance. To find the best version of Christianity, shouldn’t we look at
and imitate Christ? Jesus tells us that the two greatest commandments
are “to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your mind. The second is like it. Love your neighbor as
yourself.” We should use those as our standard of Christianity. How do
we love that way? Jesus again says, “If we love Him, we will obey his
commandments.” We must study the life of Christ and strive to live like
him. We aren’t called to live like anyone else but Christ. He is the
authority. His word is all we need. He is our all in all. Join us as we strive
to know Jesus and make Jesus known.
