The Journey Land curriculum provides experience in life changing activities and Bible studies which also allows them to have a blast in their journey.
What is Journey Land?
Journey Land is a rotational based Bible class program that takes our
1st – 6th graders through the Bible by using different learning styles to teach the Bible stories. Children will rotate to a different workshop each week.
The workshops that are in Journey Land are:
*Storytelling workshop which tells the Bible lesson in detail by reading directly from them Bible plus using other resources for the children to understand the story fully.
*Geography workshop concentrates on maps, timelines and the culture surrounding God’s people.
*Theater workshop gives children a chance to step into the shoes of Bible characters by re-enacting Bible stories.
* Art workshop is a dedicated space to create projects, cook, or participate in an experiment.
* The Puppet workshop applies Bible lessons while having lots of fun.
* Team-building workshop allows the children to work together to help understand how each story relates to their everyday life.
*The Trivia workshop reinforces all they have learned.
*The Game workshop allows to children to use their large motor skills.
*The Reflection Workshop allows the children to see the big picture and reflect on how they would deal in being the characters of each story to be able to see God’s hand in everything.
